Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said on Tuesday that India will continue to engage in border talks to peacefully resolve the standoff with China in eastern Ladakh. Singh stressed that “disengagement and de-escalation is the way forward.” Addressing the ongoing biannual Army Commanders Conference, he lauded the efforts of the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) in building road infrastructure in the border areas of both the western and northern front.


Turkish authorities have reported that an accident occurred during daytime renovation work on Tuesday, leading to a tragic incident in Istanbul.
